Lightness of Gravity

time machine keeps plotting on
minute buyers build upon
timely work to analyze it all
attempting to connect the dots
the starlit sky all in knots
unraveling the mysteries of it all
I do recall
looking into the universe
beyond the sky
beyond what we knew
looking into the universe
beyond the blackness
beyond purity
beyond sanity
was the lightness of gravity

attempting to wrap space and time
perhaps may not end war or crime
but may diffract enough to see the light
before we take that quantum leap
a child's dream from deep in sleep
may sum up something greater than the whole
out of our control

looking into the universe
beyond the sky
beyond what we know
looking below the universe
beyond the blackness
beyond sanity
beyond what we see
is the lightness of gravity

follow along the universe
hold to the path
the road may be long
looking upon the universe
planets converge
but do they all spin?
looking within there will emerge
an explanation
beyond sanity
beyond what we see
for the lightness of gravity
